The members are: Marvin Price, Rector; Dan Escalera and Shirley Hopkins, co-assistant Rectors; JaNell Barker and Frank Cochran, Music; Barbara Blakistone and Guy Lushin, co-head chas; Bob Hall, Spiritual Director. Frank Cochran cited the urgent need for new songbooks and recommended 'Renew! Songs for Blended Worship.' Treasurer's Report. Walt TeStrake reminded the team that new Cursillistas now get Fourth Day Meditation Guides, signed by the whole team. The cost for clergy for the weekend is absorbed by the Community. Also the cost of the weekend includes the Thursday evening meal for the Team at the weekend facility. Also, he renewed the music license, CCLI, for the Community.
Marvin Price exhorted the Community to attend both Mananitas and Clausura. He is interested in making information available about activities throughout Sunday that would encourage Cursillistas to remain in Front Royal for the entire day on Sunday of the Weekend.
The Diocesan Ultreya for the weekend has not yet been established; there is discussion that a Day of Deeper Understanding or a Fourth Day Workshop, offered in January or February, would be preferable. Topics might include: sponsorship, team service, the secretariat, Ultreya, group reunion, and/or the Servant Community. Scheduling and planning for this was referred to the Servant Community. The meeting adjourned, after closing prayer, at 12:26 p.m.
