Servant Community

PreCursillo Weekend 4th Day

This body is a working arm of the Secretariat. Not all members of the Servant Community are members of the Secretariat, but all Secretariat members are members of the Servant Community. The Servant Community leadership consists of the Servant Community Leader, PreCursillo Chair, Weekend Chair, 4th-Day Chair, NECC Seminar Coordinator (as needed), Spiritual Advisor, and the Communications Coordinator.
The purpose of the ECDV Servant Community is:
1. To be a prayerful and supportive body.
2. Insure a smooth running and informed community.
3. Prevent "burnout" among Secretariat and Community leaders.
4. Share responsibilities and accomplishments, enlisting as many Cursillistas as possible.
5. Use the many gifts and talents of both lay and clergy within the Parishes.
6. Meet periodically, coordinating with secretariat meetings (quarterly, at a minimum).
7. Decide how monies are to be raised for selected projects by mailings, special fundraising events, etc.
8. Keep in contact with the Secretariat on all matters by forwarding all minutes to the Secretariat, and informing the Secretariat of all decisions.
9. Keep the Cursillo Community informed of all weekends, community needs, and other information that the Secretariat deems necessary.
