Minutes of the Meeting of the Secretariat of Cursillo in the Diocese of Virginia
Present were: John Symonds, Mark Hopkins, Bill Burk, Geoff Davis, Jan Welch, Dave vanEsselstyn, and Connie Smith.
The Secretariat meeting opened at 9:30 a.m. Father Burk opened with a reading from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Minutes. Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
Treasurer’s Report. Dave Wright gave a brief report; he promised a full report next meeting. Right now, we have outstanding bills for dues to National and for supplies.
Spiritual Director. The calling for rectors for the 2004 weekends is proceeding slowly and carefully. He has asked Tony Pampa to let him know if new clergy are Cursillista; the data are not current.
Dave vanEsselstyn reported that other work is underway. Sue Davis, among others, is examining the Weekend Manual. Ted Simpson has agreed to chair a committee to examine the By-Laws.
